Active Shooter Response Training

What everyone needs to know

Knowing what to do and what not to do during an active shooter event can often determine who will live or die. Therefore, it's imperative for everyone to know how to respond. Unfortunately, very few organizations have properly trained their employees for such an event. It’s the lack of training that can delay the right response, often resulting in additional loss of life.

Ninex provides on-site and online active shooter and armed intruder response training. Our site response training goes beyond traditional training like Run-Hide-Fight, ALERRT, or CRASE and can provide employees and front-line personnel with real-world lifesaving information and techniques on what to do before, during, and after an active shooter or armed intruder event.

We offer two, four, and six hour classes that cover the following:

  • Recognize behavioral precursors that can lead to violent incidents.
  • Identify and recognize risk factors inherent to the workplace.
  • Recognize law enforcement’s limitations in responding.
  • Understand attackers’ goals and motivations.
  • Understanding “Normalcy Bias” and how to overcome it.
  • Methods of locking out an intruder.
  • Know what to do when lockout fails.
  • Learn the three outs: Get Out, Lock Out, Take Out.
  • And more.
What security professionals have to say

Sam W.   Security and Safety Manager

The production quality, attention to detail, and information, is spot on and something that every organization no matter what size should have every employee watch.

Jane P.   Director of Corporate Security

This is exactly what I've been looking for, a training program that really delivers the information my employees need during an active shooter event.

VICTIM SUSTAINABILITY TRAINING

Because a person can bleed to death in less than 5 minutes

Hands on training

The sirens are getting louder and help is on its way, but for anyone that has been shot it may be too late, unless they receive care immediately. The first priority for responding law enforcement is to find and stop the shooter, all other actions are secondary, including rendering medical aid.

Ninex Victim Sustainability Training can train employees on how to stop someone from bleeding to death using trauma kits and improvised items until medical personnel are able to enter the building.

Trauma Kits

Ninex Victim Sustainability Trauma Kits contain life-saving medical supplies specifically designed to deal with gunshot victims that can be strategically placed throughout an organization that to be accessed by employees and/or the public.
