Active Shooter Response Training

What everyone needs to know

Knowing what to do and what not to do during an active shooter event can often determine who will live or die.  Therefore, it's imperative for everyone to know how to respond. Unfortunately, very few organizations have properly trained their employees for such an event. It’s the lack of training that can delay the right response, often resulting in additional loss of life.

Ninex provides on-site and online active shooter and armed intruder response training.  Our site response training goes beyond traditional training like Run-Hide-Fight, ALERRT, or CRASE and can provide employees and front-line personnel with real-world lifesaving information and techniques on what to do before, during, and after an active shooter or armed intruder event.

We offer two, four, and six-hour classes that cover the following:

  • Recognize behavioral precursors that can lead to violent incidents.
  • Identify and recognize risk factors inherent to the workplace.
  • Recognize law enforcement’s limitations in responding.
  • Understand attackers’ goals and motivations.
  • Understanding “Normalcy Bias” and how to overcome it.
  • Methods of locking out an intruder.
  • Know what to do when lockout fails.
  • Learn the three outs: Get Out, Lock Out, Take Out.
  • And more.

Train Online

Ninex online interactive active shooter/armed intruder training provides organizations with an effective way to train hundreds or thousands of employees.  This training program covers many of the topics in our on-site program, condensed to 90 minutes.

Employees will watch a series of videos and then immediately interact with those videos to learn the right decisions to make based on the threat. Employees can start and stop the training, and upon completion, test results are available and can be printed for company records.
